At the moment Lionel Andres Messi is arguably the best football player the world has ever had. Messi is often compared to famous footballers like Maradona of Argentina and Pele of Brazil and it’s believed that it won’t take long before he overtakes them.

The second was a hat-trick he netted against APOEL Nicosia. He broke Raul Gonzalez’s seventy one career goals to become all-time leading goal scorer in the UEFA Champions League history. This time he ended the season with a record 77 goals in 99 career Champions League games.

As I write this post, he is captaining Argentina national team and has appeared in the three World Cups (2006, 2010 and the last World Cup in Brazil). he has also appeared in two Copa Americas (2007 and 2011). He also appeared at the Beijing 2008 Olympics and went home with a medal. Lionel Messi is still expected to wonders for his club and country.
