Tim Tebow held a workout on USC’s campus in Los Angeles on Tuesday for MLB teams in hopes that it’s the next step in earning a contract offer and pursuing a career as a professional baseball player.Tebow ran a 60-yard dash, did outfield throwing and fielding drills, took batting practice and then faced live pitching against two minor leaguers.After his workout, Tebow spoke with FOX Sports’ Skip Bayless and explained the two things he’s looking for from any team that might consider signing him.

The baseball world was momentarily focused on Tim Tebow on Tuesday, as he held a showcase at USC for MLB teams to evaluate him, the next step in Tebow’s goal of pursuing a career in professional baseball.The reviews of Tebow’s workout were fairly mixed.With 27 teams and 42 scouts at the workout, Tebow ran a 60-yard dash, did outfield throwing and fielding drills, took batting practice and then faced live pitching.
