Seery, 37, was willing to push back retirement once in order to reschedule the fight with McCall.

Incredibly, another Ian McCall bout has fallen apart.After McCall’s slated bout last November with Neil Seery fell apart at the last minute due to illness on McCall’s part, the flyweight contest was rebooked for UFC 208 on Feb. 11 in Brooklyn.
This is now the fifth straight scheduled fight McCall has had fall apart in the UFC, after fights with Dustin Ortiz Ray Borg and now Seery twice have all been scuttled for a host of different reasons.
The UFC is presently looking for a replacement to face “Uncle Creepy.”The 32-year-old McCall has not fought since his January 2015 loss to John Lineker .
However, Sunday on Facebook, Seery stated that his mother-in-law had passed away and that he’d pulled out of the fight.“I pulled out of my fight in 2 weeks due to losing my mother in law today sorry to everyone who bought tickets but family comes first,” posted Seery Seery, 37, had previously stated that he anticipated the McCall bout at UFC 208 to be his retirement bout.
