FOX Sports : reported that UFC strawweight Aisling Daly announces her retirement due to medical reasons

as declared in UFC strawweight and former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Aisling Daly has announced her retirement from mixed martial arts.
“I will be officially retiring from the sport of MMA,” Daly wrote.
“To be an Irish woman competing in the premier league of mixed martial arts her in home town.
After a long career in several different promotions, Daly finally made her way to the UFC during “The Ultimate Fighter” season 20 where she competed alongside 15 other fighters to crown the first ever strawweight champion.
Daly announced the news via her Instagram account along with details about why she’s walking away from the sport at just 29 years of age.

Citing an abnormality that showed up on a recent brain scan, UFC women’s strawweight Aisling Daly today announced her retirement from MMA.
“Now starts the next chapter of my life,” Daly wrote.

I am equipped with the skills to be an exceptional coach and member of the martial arts community and I look forward to seeing what challenges lie ahead for me.
Daly (16-6 MMA, 2-1 UFC) has not fought since a unanimous decision win over Ericka Almeida at UFC Fight Night 76 in October 2015, which took place in her home city of Dublin.
