as declared in New Delhi, Feb 7: Delhi batsman Mohit Ahlawat created world record as he became the first batsman to score 300 runs in an innings in T20 cricket, as reported by ABP Live.
In T20 Internationals, Australia’s Aaron Finch scored the most runs in an innings, 156 against England in 2013.
Ahlawat was representing local side Maavi XI against Friends XI in a local tournament names Friends Premier League.
The youngster hit five sixes in the last five balls of the innings as he scored 34 runs in the final over.
Ahlawat, 21, who has represented Delhi in the Ranji Trophy, smashed a triple century in just 72 balls hitting 14 fours and 39 sixes.

New Delhi: It is extremely difficult to go on and score a double or triple century in Test cricket, but today a 21-year-old Delhi boy Mohit Ahlawat became the first batsman in the world to score a 300 in a T20 match.
Though the match doesn’t have an official record keeping, since it was only a local match, the scoresheet of his innings was available.
Ahlawat’s knock registered his triple century in 72 balls with the help of 39 sixes and 14 boundaries.
With his feat, the Delhi boy also helped his team become the first ever to cross the 300-run mark in T20 cricket.

The wicket-keeper-batsman achieved the feat at Delhi’s Lalita Park while playing for Maavi XI against Friend’s XI in a local T20 tournament.
Mohit scored an unbeaten 300 runs off just 72 balls.
