Having already made weight for his UFC 208 bout against late-notice opponent Jarred Brooks, McCall was pulled from the card by the UFC after being deemed physically unable to compete.
The cancellation is the latest in a series of unfortunate events for McCall, who last fought inside the Octagon in January 2015.
Once considered one of the top flyweights in the world, #IanMcCall has endured a rough stretch with the UFC.
Dropping a decision to perennial contender #JosephBenavidez forced McCall further down the flyweight rankings, but by late 2014, “Uncle Creepy” seemed destined for a third bout with Johnson, following two-straight victories.

Their meeting was rescheduled for UFC 208, however, Seery had to withdraw two weeks ago due to the death of his mother-in-law.
McCall was originally supposed to take on Neil Seery at UFC Fight Night: Mousasi vs. Hall 2 in November, but he had to pull out of that bout as well due to illness.
