according to ITHACA, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams combined for more than 2200 points and both teams finished in second in their respective Upstate New York State Collegiate Swimming Association (UNYSCSA) Championships at Ithaca College.
There were 15 schools in the women’s meet and 14 in the men’s.
They later swam in the 400 free relay, helping the Engineers to a third place finish in a time of 3:30.83.
Rounding out the top five for the women were Stevens (985), Rochester Institute of Technology (938) and Union (905).
And RPI had two divers in the 3-meter finals withfinishing sixth andone spot behind him.Following Stevens and RPI was Ithaca (995), Hartwick College (813) and Union College (760).
