St. John’s Prep wins second straight swimming and diving title quoting : The Boston Globe

St. John’s Prep won its 11th Division 1 boys’ swimming and diving state title of the past 12 years at Boston University on Sunday.
Michael Xenakis supplied St. John’s Prep with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley.
Besides St. John’s Prep, there were a few swimmers who stood out with dominating individual performances.
He also earned All-America consideration with his 45.62 time in the 100-yard freestyle.

Women’s swimming and diving wins UNYSCSA Championship

The men’s swimming and diving team placed third overall with a total of 995 points and the women’s team won the 2017 UNYSCSA Championship, which marks its fourth consecutive win.
Zelehowsky also aided the 400-yard freestyle relay team in earning the relay title.
Head coach Paula Miller received the award for Women’s Swimming Coach of the Meet, and diving coach Chris Griffin was named Women’s Diving Coach of the Meet.
He gained another UNYSCSA title when he finished the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 45.93.
Hewitt also took the UNYSCSA title in the 200-yard butterfly.
