Graham, a junior guard, was arrested on a Lawrence Municipal Court charge of failing to appear in court, according to Douglas County Sheriff’s Office booking logs.
The charge is related to an expired tag ticket that was filed June 29, 2016, in municipal court, according to a court spokesperson.
Kansas basketball player Devonte’ Graham was arrested and released on bond late Wednesday night, but will not face any further punishment or suspension from his team.
Graham was arrested by KU campus police, according to the booking log, and was later released after posting $196 bond.
In a Thursday morning news release from KU athletics, Graham apologized for the “inattention” that led to the arrest.
