The Washington Post : declared in Alex Rodriguez joins Fox Sports as full-time MLB analyst

As it stated in (AP Photo/Chris O’Meara)With no plans of returning to the field and two postseasons of experience as a guest analyst under his belt, former Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez will join Fox Sports as a full-time analyst, the network announced Tuesday.

“I’m excited to continue working with the Fox Sports family,” Rodriguez said in a statement.
He hit .250 with 33 home runs in 2015, but hit only .200 with nine home runs in 65 games last season.
The 41-year-old Rodriguez, who was released by the Yankees last August with more than a year remaining on his 10-year, $275 million contract, made his broadcasting debut as a studio analyst for Fox Sports during the 2015 World Series.

March 8 (UPI) — Alex Rodriguez signed a multiyear deal to be a MLB analyst on Fox Sports, the network announced Tuesday.
Fox said Rodriguez will be used as a studio analyst and as an in-game analyst during Saturday broadcasts.
The Yankees are paying Rodriguez $21 million in 2017 in the final season of a 10-year, $275 million contract.
Rodriguez, who announced his retirement as a player on Feb. 21, served as a guest analyst for Fox during each of the past two postseasons.
“I’m excited to continue working with the Fox Sports family,” Rodriguez said in a statement.
