A Dhaka court today granted a one-month bail to cricketer Arafat Sunny in a case filed for torturing a 23-year-old woman, who claimed to be his wife.
Appearing before the court, Nasrin Sultana said she and Sunny reached a decision that they would start living together.
On Nasrin’s refusal, Sunny verbally abused her and left her, she claimed.
The cricketer was also sued in another case filed by Nasrin under Information and Communication Technology Act.
