USC men’s Gamecock basketball advances to Final Four for first time in program history stat : wach

as mentioned in NEW YORK, NY (WACH) – Seventh seed South Carolina Men’s basketball team is headed to the Final Four for the first time in program history.
Sunday, the Gamecocks showed they are championship material, beating the Gators 77-70 and advancing to the Final Four for the first time in men’s Gamecock basketball history.
The Final Four will be played in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, April 1st.
The team had a decisive win over Duke last Sunday to set up a meeting with Baylor, who they blew past by 20 points.
The win advanced them to the Elite 8 and a showdown with SEC Conference rival Florida in one of the best games in the tournament.
