The 17-year-old Howell is currently with the U.S. Under-23 team in Oregon, along with fellow Fossil Ridge junior Sophia Smith.
The Fossil Ridge High School junior was called to the senior camp to join the national team for an upcoming set of games, U.S. soccer announced.
