Neal is out as UNM basketball coach according to : Albuquerque Journal

Alford left for UCLA after six seasons at UNM with Neal as his associate head coach.
He’s a good man and a winning coach, but the time has come to move Lobo Basketball in a new direction.
“In order to end speculation, I’m announcing that Craig Neal will return and coach the men’s basketball team next season,” Krebs wrote in a prepared statement.

As it stated in TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — Suspended-Lincoln basketball coach Dimitric Salters was arrested Thursday and is facing charges that include fraud and theft.
“In January I contacted the district office with concerns of financial irregularities in our boys basketball program.
Lincoln Principal Allen Burch called the situation shocking and said the basketball program and school will begin the process of moving forward.
Our thoughts are on the students at Lincoln, specifically the basketball team and what they’ve achieved this past year.”
“While this situation is shocking to the entire Lincoln Community, our student athletes have been affected the most.

Former Wisconsin basketball coach Bo Ryan not selected in 2017 Hall of Fame vote

He’ll be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in November, after which he’ll be able to watch his Badgers play in the Hall of Fame Classic.
Bo Ryan was named a finalist for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in February for the third straight year, but he reportedly still did not get enough votes to secure a spot in the hall’s Class of 2017.
Before coming to Madison, Ryan coached at Wisconsin-Platteville from 1984-99, winning four Division III national championships, then at Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1999-2001.
He retired with a career winning percentage of .715 in Division I.Ryan hasn’t missed out on all recognition since his retirement.
