Oscar De La Hoya teases possible unretirement, calls out Conor McGregor stat

“I’ve been working out for the last five months,” Oscar De La Hoya said Monday.
Another person close to De La Hoya told ESPN that De La Hoya is in fact seriously considering a return to the ring, even if it’s not to fight McGregor.
This is not the first time De La Hoya has publicly toyed with the idea of coming out of retirement.
In June 2015, De La Hoya told ESPN he was considering a return to the ring.

In a left field pronouncement Oscar De La Hoya, a long since retired legend, declared that he had been training in secret and wanted one last fight against UFC star Conor McGregor of all people.
It’s not clear if De La Hoya is being entirely serious.
De La Hoya reckons that even as his advanced age of 44 years old he could beat McGregor in a boxing match.
