DRMS girls eligible to play varsity Association football

According to Summer SchultzSeventh- & 8th-grade girls at Dell Rapids Middle School going to be eligible to have a try out & play varsity Association football following year.
The Dell Rapids School Board confirmed the revision of a Association football cooperative licence by Garretson Monday, April nine, at its regular meeting which reflected the change.
“It wouldn’t be which if you need to go out, you get to only go out & be on (the team),” said Dell Rapids Superintendent Summer Schultz.
The co-op allows student-athletes from Dell Rapids to play for Garretson.
In other business» The school board confirmed 3 staffing additions: an extra 2nd-grade teacher, increasing the Spanish instructorposition to complete-time & increasing the special education director position to complete-time.
